Mobile: drag the joystick toward your destination. Push farther for more thrust; release to coast. Hold BRAKE to cut thrust and slow down, or BOOST while steering. FIRE works independently.

Left stick / D-pad
Move toward that direction. Release to coast.
Right stick
Aim weapons independently while moving; scroll menus.
RT / R2 · LT / L2
Fire · brake.
RB / R1 · LB / L1
Boost · switch tool.
A / Cross · B / Circle
Interact / confirm · back.
X / Square · Y / Triangle
Scan · cargo.
View / Share · Menu / Options
Map · pause / return.
D-pad / Left stick
Navigate menus. Left/right adjusts values.
Browser dialogs
Mouse or touch for sound activation, file import, fullscreen and browser confirmations.
WASD / Arrow keys
Move toward that direction. Release to drift.
Mouse cursor
Aim the turret or laser independently of the hull.
X
Brake before rocks and docking.
SPACE / Left click
Hold to use the selected tool.
1 / 2
Mining laser / autocannon. The laser deals light enemy damage (5 hull/s) while held on target. Rocks block the beam; the cannon is much stronger.
Q
Active scan. Reveals local material labels.
E
Dock, depart or travel through a gate.
M / B
System map / deploy crafted structures.
SHIFT / BOOST
Hold with thrust for faster travel.
P / ESC
Pause. Leaving the tab pauses flight too.

Tap HOLD or Menu → Cargo to manage your load. Choose auto-scoop materials; jettison an exact quantity into a persistent pod and recover it manually within 160 m. Fragments scoop automatically within 175 m when enabled. Docking stores cargo at the local depot. Legacy saves retain their shared workshop until explicitly converted. Craft components and install a jump drive to reach the next system. Dock within 215 m at less than 85 m/s. Amber diamond = depot. Cyan diamond = next system. Blue diamond = return gate.

Solar heating falls with distance. Heat builds gradually; above 420 K the hull takes damage. Coasting outward or entering a celestial shadow reduces heating, but cooling takes time. The stellar surface is fatal. The map marks the water-ice frost line and orbital lanes. Flight assist uses fuel to damp motion and limit speed; switch it off for inertial flight under gravity.

Returns to the depot and leaves cargo in a recoverable wreck, replacing any previous recovery wreck. Rebuilt rescue services recover half directly. Costs up to 50 Credits; emergency depot fuel is free.
